Ailén Oggero, a nurse from Rosario, was tragically murdered by her ex-partner, Jonathan Omilles, who is currently detained and faces various prior gender violence charges from the victim. Ailén's mother expressed her anguish and frustration over the delay of justice in acting, stating that it hurts her not to have been able to do more to save her daughter. Mónica also highlighted that her grandchildren are devastated by what happened.

Ailén's parents live across from the house where the femicide occurred and were alerted by the child to come closer. Mónica described Jonathan Omilles as a seductive person but who raised distrust in her, as her maternal instinct generated doubts about him. The victim's mother mourned the loss of her daughter and expressed her desire for justice, although she acknowledged that nothing will bring Ailén back.
